Enhanced Aid: The transition from ₹500 to ₹1,000 per month ensures patients can afford protein-rich diets required to combat the aggressive medication.
AI in Diagnostics: Health centers are now deploying AI-powered X-ray screening for early detection, a part of the ‘TB-Mukt Bharat’ initiative.
Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): The funds are credited directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of over 2.5 million active patients.
Experts suggest that this socio-economic intervention, combined with the “Ni-kshay Mitra” community support program, is a global benchmark in infectious disease management.
